Suds and Scissors; For the love of dogs!

Teresa got in contact with Yesh & Tash for help building and ultimately creating her brand identity. When we first spoke, Teresa was very unsure about what her site and image should look like but her clear passion and love for dogs shone through and we knew this was going to be a fun project to work on.

All projects are different, but in this case, Mel knew that communication and input from Teresa was key. Mel knows design but in fact knows very little about the art of dog grooming. That dedication and care for detail from both sides really brought the site to life and in turn, the website radiates attention and precision. The overall idea for the space was clean, clear, sleek, showcasing crisp photography and informative. But there is also a touch of playfulness and warmth with the textured background.

This project was the first to introduce the ever so detailed and whimsical work of Annabel Lam. Annabel’s illustrations are incredibly endearing and make great additions and add personalised touches to any website. She works predominantly in black and white and her interesting shading makes her works recognisable and unique. If you are keen on adding illustrative work to your site to make it stand out, we can come up with ideas and definitely work them into your space.

I came to Melissa with two requests - design a logo for me and build a website that expressed who I was and what my business was all about. I had absolutely no idea what that might look like, what my brand was, and was a real novice with website designs and logos and how all that sort of thing worked. Melissa took some time to understand my business and what was important to me, and has translated that superbly. I am based in Australia, and one concern was how we would be able to communicate and get things moving along. Mels response to my questions was always quick, and I would wake up in the mornings to a string of emails for me to read through and respond to, often while Mel was still awake and working on my site. The end product is amazing, and exactly what I imagined. Many thanks to Mel and Yesh for making it all happen.
